Cinnamon leaf essential oil has warming properties that help invigorate and rejuvenate the mind and body. It’s pungent, spicy aroma supports the respiratory and digestive systems.
Cinnamon Leaf is believed to be a stimulant, an antiseptic (as with cinnamon bark), an antibiotic, an astringent, a carminative, an antiviral, and is used as a natural insecticide and antispasmodic. It was even used as a love potion by the Egyptians!
Blends well with: oils in the citrus family like lemon and orange, other spices, and lavender.
Caring for your oils: Essential oils can be negatively effected by ultra violet rays or wide ranges in temperature. They should be kept in dark translucent bottles, out of the sun, and in a moderate temperature stable environment.
Using your oils: Essential oils are very potent, and only in the rarest cases should be used in undiluted form.
Cautions: Not recommended for use during pregnancy. Non toxic, and non irritant. Citrus oils are photosensitive and should not be applied prior to sun exposure. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. Keep all bottles Out of Reach of Children.
