p-Dichlorobenzene
p-Dichlorobenzene is a colorless to white crystalline solid with a mothball-like odor.
Uses: odor control.
Found in: air fresheners, moth balls and solid deodorant blocks for garbage cans and restrooms.
Effects: Acute: eye and upper respiratory tract irritant, nausea, vomiting, and liver necrosis with jaundice. Chronic: a liver and kidney toxin, and a carcinogen. May be fatal if inhaled or swallowed.
