Our beginnings…

Founder, Ann LaGoy developed a curiosity for natural alternatives to hazardous chemical cleansers during her ownership of Home Assistance Cleaning Service™ in Hudson Valley, NY. Ann was poisoned by chloramine gas (the gas emitted when bleach mixes with ammonia). Wanting to offer her employees and herself a safe and more pleasant work environment, she read books, researched on-line, mixed, measured, tested and developed this 100% natural, cruelty-free, line of Sound Earth cleaning and care products.

Sound Earth product line has since grown to include therapeutic grade essential oils, laundry soap, scented sprays, baby products, cleaning tools, roll-on perfume and bug repellent. We have researched what goes into our products, and the products we sell, so you don’t have to.

We have remained a trusted supplier of natural, cruelty-free products since 2003.

We at Sound Earth are strong believers in “the ripple effect”: what we do as individuals effects those around us, and those around them. This is why we donate 10% of all profits to various local and national not–for–profit organizations.

We are a company dedicated to efficient use of natural resources. We manufacture non-toxic cleaning and care products with superior cleaning ability by carefully considering every aspect of production, including:
~ using our products in our homes before we sell them to you for use in yours.
~ refusing to engage in the abhorrent practice of animal testing in any stage of production.
~ packaging and shipping in reused and easily recycled materials.

Our compassionate guarantee:

Due to the abhorrent and cruel nature of animal testing, at no time during development, manufacturing, or distribution of our products will Sound Earth, LLC conduct, or commission, tests on animals. We do not do business with companies that conduct, or commission, tests on animals. Sound Earth does not use any animal ingredients in our products – we are a vegan company.
